Welcome to Ride Around Israel

My name is Fabien and just like you, I'm always on the lookout for new things to discover in our beautiful country! From scenic roads to quiet places in the mountains, I spend most of my time riding my motorcycle looking for new adventures and memories.

Originally from Paris, I knew that I wanted to live in Israel since I was a kid. I devoured history books and spent a lot of time learning Hebrew from Israeli songs and movies. And while many of my friends were planning their careers, I was waiting patiently to finish high school and move to the Holy Land.

But as you know, things don't always go as planned, and while I was dreaming of palm trees and sandy beaches, I ended up moving to Canada to improve my English before making Alyah... And what was supposed to be a 6 month trip, ended up being 12 beautiful years of my life.

Canada was a perfect country for me. I managed to live in the city of Toronto while renting cars on weekends to drive as far as my wheels could take me, chasing lights and beautiful sceneries... But every good thing comes to an end and it was time for me to go back to plan A: Moving to Israel.

As a big city person, the logical destination for me was Tel Aviv and I loved it. But after a year and a half in the city, I traded my studio in the city for a motorcycle and started riding everywhere in the country looking for scenic roads and anything that could make me feel closer to the country.

That is what Ride Around Israel is about. It's a way for me to share my experience living in Israel and beautiful places with you. So whether you are planning your next trip or you plan to make Alyah, feel free to reach out and I'll be happy to connect!

See you on the road!
